Information reaching bestghnews.online' Maame Esi Nyamekye has it that some persons had been attacked and wounded by a mob at Ntoaso near Nsawam-Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region due to land disputes.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ebenezer Tetteh, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Eastern Regional Police Command detailed that Nana Baah, the Akwansrahene of Akyem Apapam together with Samad Musah aged 32, Solomon Musah aged 38, Abdul Karim aged 36, and
Aboagye Muhammad were attacked by a mob numbered 70 after they visited a plot of land belonging to them which is part of the Abuakwa stool land at Ntoaso near Nsawam-Adoagyiri by pass.
ASP Tetteh continued that the mob attacked the persons mentioned above which resulted in bullet wounds on Samad, Solomon, Karim and Aboagye who were then rushed to the Nsawam hospital for treatments.
He pushed on that two other persons Isaac Dowuona, with bullet wounds at the back of his leg and Armah Joseph with bullet wound at the back of his head were brought in in critical conditions and were referred to Korle bu Teaching Hospital.
ASP Ebenezer Tetteh further said that the victims mentioned one Enoch as one of the mob who attacked and wounded them with a pump action gun but the suspect is at large. Investigation are still on going. He added.
