The Baba Yara stadium will be the venue when Asante Kotoko plays against newly-promoted side Techiman Eleven Wonders in week four of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The Porcupine Warriors have so far had a mixed campaign, having recorded a win, a draw and a loss in their opening three league games.
The 22-time champions fell to a narrow 0-1 loss to Medeama in mid-week and will be hoping to swiftly bounce back to winning ways.
However, in Eleven Wonders they face a side that has so far exceeded expectations in their debut campaign. The newly-promoted side are unbeaten in the league, having won once and drawn two games.
Elsewhere, Dreams FC will look to continue with their impressive start to the season when they travel to face Hearts of Oak in Cape Coast.
The Dawu-based side have been on a roll this season and are yet to lose after three rounds of league action.
For Hearts of Oak, it has so far been an inconsistent campaign, punctuated with clashes between fans and management over the club’s choice of manager.
The Phobians had drawn one and lost the other, before finally recording their first win of the season after a 2-0 reverse at Ebusua Dwarfs in mid-week.
Other games this afternoon include
Liberty Professionals vs Medeama SC
Aduana Stars vs Inter Allies
Wa All Stars vs Berekum Chelsea
Karela vs Ebusua Dwarfs

Games kick off at 3pm GMT.

ReplyDeleteWhat a chance: Eleven Wonders get the best chance of the game and somehow they conspire to miss it. kweku Duah rounds off Felix Annan but is caught in two minds and attempts to dribble again, Kotoko clear their lines before he could strike. Big let off there
