Shatta Wale Accuses Sarkodie of Being 'Arrogant'

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has accused his friend and fellow artiste Sarkodie of being arrogant.

According to the "Ayoo" hit maker, some fans of Sarkodie told him (Shatta) that Sark refused to pose for a ‘selfie’ with a fan who approached him while in traffic.

The dancehall King, who was on Accra-based Okay FM as part of his media tour, told Abeiku Santana on Friday, August 4, 2017 that he has received numerous reports of how some of his fellow musicians behave haughtily towards their fans.

Although Shatta Wale was not ready to mention any name, the host – Abeiku Santana pushed him to the wall, forcing him to name Sark as the culprit.

Shatta Wale confirmed to Abeiku Santana that Sarkodie refused to grant a fan’s request for a ‘selfie’ with him; an act he (Sark) could easily have done, since he was stucked in traffic at that particular time.

“I really understand and feel their pain, because they are not getting any artiste that understand them, recently I heard a rumor about an artiste that refused to take a selfie with a fan, yes Sarkodie, and I felt bad about it", he disclosed.

Shatta Wale condemned the act and advised Sarkodie to learn how to get on well with his fans and not to be bossy over them.

"...he (Sark) and my colleague artiste shouldn't forget that it is the hawkers, market women and ordinary people on the streets, who made them who they are, so it is very important to grant fans audience when they approach them," he added.

According to Shatta Wale, should he does meet a mechanical engineer and he wants to be warmly embraced, he will gladly do so irrespective of their stained outfit; because "i have enough money to buy another one if they dirty my attire."
